Nordic Hygge Winter Wedding

I had the absolute joy of creating the custom wedding invitations for Stephanie and Raymond’s Central Park Zoo Wedding. They wanted a design that captured the spirit of the city, and the pure adorableness of the sea lions without feeling like a child’s birthday party. I illustrated a custom wedding monogram for them, featuring a few skyscrapers and the perfect pair of sea lions, which we also used on their dance floor and welcome sign. The custom invitation suite was letterpress printed for a super luxe look to match their wedding day. The wedding suite was tied with a silk ribbon that was sealed with a custom wax seal to match their invitation ink color.

To match the escort cards, each table number featured an original animal illustration along with the table number. Every wedding day detail, from the cocktail napkins to the bar signage, took inspiration for their custom invitation and monogram. I was glued to instagram the day of their wedding to catch a glimpse of the couple and of course the sea lions!
